What does aging with style mean to us?

Looking 30 at 50 includes our complete internal and external makeover. We want toned skin and muscles, radiant eyes, sharp senses, and no joint problems, hair loss, mental performance issues, or lack of motivation. To sum it up: stay young longer. There are a whole series of excellent scientific studies on this. Going back to ancient times, the emphasis was placed on a balanced acid-base metabolism. The Romans and Greeks raved about vegetarian diets – lots of millet, lentils, beans, parsley, olive oil, garlic, capers, figs, feta cheese, sometimes eggs, fish sauce, little alcohol, plenty of exercise, and training. They also consumed cinder-crushed plants – especially nettle – an alkaline fountain of youth! Acid sources, especially smoked fish and meat, and too much egg yolk, are said to accelerate aging. We recommend adapting the Mediterranean diet to emphasize fresh fruit and vegetables. Choose fresh cheese over old cheese, eat fresh fish—especially fatty sardines (which also provide a high level of omega-3 fatty acids), use herbs and spices (especially garlic and parsley—daily!), and get an excellent olive oil. This also provides hydroxytyrosol, a heart-protective substance. If you eat meat, make sure it’s fresh, not packaged in a protective atmosphere, and it must contain bone and connective tissue—no lean broth! The naturally occurring collagen keeps the joints lubricated (you can also supplement with this). Exercise at least 60 minutes a day, including at least 20 minutes of intense exercise. It’s okay to sweat—use it or lose it!
